The terrestrial remains of Mrs. George Wigdahl were interred in the Lutheran cemetery east of Wallingford Tuesday afternoon, March 30th. The funeral services were conducted at the Lutheran church by Rev. Engh, assisted by Rev. L.O. Wigdahl, of Ruthven. Mrs. Wigdahl died at Ruthven, where the family has resided the past two years, on Sunday [March 28, 1897] morning after having suffered for some time past with dropsy. The deceased was a daughter of Mrs. A.L. Gunderson, of Wallingford, and was well known to people of that community. She leaves a husband and two small children. Wallingford – Mrs. Geo. Wigdahl who has been sick for about a year with that dreaded disease dropsy, died at her home in Ruthven March 28th. She leaves a husband and two children to mourn the death of a dear, loving wife and mother. The deceased is a daughter of Mrs. Sarah Gunderson of this place. We all sympathize with them through their sorrow.
