Mrs. Dobberstein Dies
Mrs. Frank (Mary [Mayme] Elizabeth) [McCarthy] Dobberstein, 70, died this morning at 9 o’clock at Holy Family Hospital. Cause of death was a heart attack. Mrs. Dobberstein was born Jan. 22, 1888 [per cemetery records 1887], and she and her husband, who survives her, have lived on their farm northwest of Estherville since 1903. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Sternborg Chapel. The funeral will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, the Rev. J. H. Duhigg officiating. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 31, 1958)
