Ex-Merchant at Wallingford Dies at 74
Ole J. [Jeohan] Anderson, 74, resident of Wallingford since 1900, died at 2:45 this morning at Holy Family hospital. Mr. Anderson had been hospitalized for the past 10 days and had had a heart ailment for the past seven or eight years.

Born Feb. 3, 1881, in Columbia county, Wisconsin, Mr. Anderson was engaged in carpentry work upon coming to Wallingford and worked as a carpenter until 1928 when he went into the hardware business. He was in the hardware business until retirement in 1952.

Mr. Anderson married Emma Sevatson in 1909.

He is survived by his widow, one son, Norman Anderson of Wallingford; two sisters, Mrs. Sena Maakenson of Sun Prairie, Wis., and Mrs. Prudie Ephun of Madison, Wis., and two brothers, Simon of Madison and Theodore of Lodi, Wis.

Funeral services will be conducted at Sandin Funeral home Monday at 1:30 p.m. and at the Wallingford Lutheran church, the Rev. C.B. Gunderson officiating at 2 p.m. Friends may call at Sandin funeral home from Saturday noon until time of services. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 2, 1955)
