Relative Died at Estherville
Mrs. George Swanson of Estherville, a half sister of Mrs. B. Anderson and a full sister of Mrs. E.H. Melcher of Storm Lake, the former Miss Ella Helvig of this place, died Monday [November 1, 1954] and funeral services were held yesterday at Estherville. (Roland Record, Roland, IA, November 4, 1954)

Roland - Mr. and Mrs. Otis Anderson attended funeral services Thursday for the latter’s sister, Mrs. George Swanson [Sarah Twedt] at Estherville. Mrs. Swanson was found dead at her home by a neighbor. She had suffered a heart attack.

Mrs. Swanson was preceded in death by her husband, she is survived by two children, one son and one daughter. (Ames Daily Tribune, Ames, IA, November 6, 1954)
