Arthur Steinhorst Services Tuesday
Arthur Arnold Steinhorst, 67, Estherville, died March 2, 1973, at Holy Family Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Reese-Henry Funeral Chapel, Estherville, and interment will be in East Side Cemetery with the Rev. Stanley Eyberg officiating. Friends may call at Reese-Henry Funeral Home, Estherville, today and until time of services Tuesday.
Mr. Steinhorst was born Aug. 25, 1905, on a farm in Martin County, Minn., to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Steinhorst. He attended Ceylon schools and was married June 26, 1929, to Tillie Fank in Estherville. They came to Estherville in 1940 and operated a portable feed mill for a number of years and for the past 20 years he had been a carpenter.
He is survived by three sons, Dale Steinhorst in the U.S. Air Force in England, Lyle Steinhorst of Roswell, Ga., and Charles Steinhorst, Tacoma, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Leroy (Mary) Swanson, Council Bluffs; 11 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Esther Hatland, Estherville, Mrs. Ella Schnittger, Payallup, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, march 5, 1973)
