Attorney’s Father Passes in Glendale
Emil Schmidt, of Glendale, father of Attorney H.E. Schmidt, of this city, died at Glendale this morning, according to a report received here. The late Emil Schmidt resided at Wasco for 18 years before removing to Glendale. In addition to Attorney Schmidt, of this city, the deceased is survived by five daughters and a widow [Ida Anna Larbig Schmidt]. (Bakersfield Californian, Bakersfield, CA, September 18, 1939)
