Lewis, son of Nels Gilbertson, died at the home of his father in High Lake township last Thursday of heart disease. Deceased was about twenty-three years of age, and has lived in High Lake since his boyhood. Two years ago he went to Montana, railroading, and to the hard work and exposure incident to that campaign, his sickness was attributed. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, February 23, 1889)
