Peter Petersen Services Wednesday in Estherville
Peter K. Petersen, 88, Estherville, died early Sunday, Feb. 18, 1973, at the home of his nieces, Mary and Martina Petersen, where he had been residing the past several years.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fuhrman Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert K. Miller of the Christian Church officiating. Burial will be made in East Side Cemetery.

Mr. Petersen was born June 11, 1884, in Bronderup, Denmark, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Petersen. He was educated in Denmark and came to the United States in1903. He lived many years in San Francisco and in the Cedar Rapids area, working for the railroad and in construction work. He was married in 1909.

He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Denmark.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. James (Marie) Cowan, Saint Petersburg, Fla., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
