1901-1979
Superior – Charles Albert Noble, 78, Superior, died Friday [June 29, 1979] morning at his home in Superior.

Services for Mr. Noble will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, with the Rev. Max Goldman officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home after noon Sunday until time of services Monday.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Noble, he was born Jan. 1, 1901, in Plymouth County. He received his education in Plymouth County schools and was married to Irene Rogers at Estherville on Sept. 11, 1929. The couple farmed in the LeMars and Winnebago areas for 19 years and then in the Dolliver area for seven years before moving to Superior. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Mr. Noble is survived by one son, Gerald Noble, Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Janice) Dickenson, Fairmont; three grandsons and one granddaughter; and six brothers and sisters, Nellie Norris, Hale, Mo., Mabel Port and Dale Noble, both of LeMars, Hollis Noble, Hawarden, George Noble, Pipestone, Minn., and Myrtle VanSteenwyck, Clearwater, S.D.
