Mrs. Dora Rowley Former Resident Dies Wednesday
Burial services for Mrs. Dora [Udora Sophia Flinn] Rowley, a former resident of Estherville were held Friday afternoon at Worthington, Minn. Mrs. Rowley was the mother of Mrs. C.L. Mulock and an aunt of A.J. Knepper of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Mulock and Mr. and Mrs. Knepper were at Worthington for the services. The deceased lady had made her home near Brewster, Minn. with her son R.B. Dickey and died at that place last Wednesday [June 8, 1932] morning of a paralytic stroke.Mrs. Rowley lived in Estherville with her husband, owner and manager of the Estherville Laundry for several years prior to 1925 when they moved to Spencer. Mr. Rowley was murdered near Omaha [Topeka, Kansas] where he had gone on a business trip in 1928 [1927]. Since that time Mrs. Rowley had lived with her son. Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Mulock and daughter were called to Brewster, Minn., the latter part of the week by the death of Mrs. Dora Raleigh [Rowley], mother of Mrs. Mulock. Funeral services were held Friday at Brewster. Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Knepper motored to Brewster Friday for the service. Mrs. Raleigh was an aunt of Mr. Knepper.
