Estherville – Services for Ruth N. [Naomi] Buck, 83, of Estherville will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Henry-Olson-Furhman Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Willey of Estherville officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery, Estherville. She died Sunday, Jan. 5, 1997 at Rosewood Manor Care Center in Estherville.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

She was born June 20, 1913 at Britt, the daughter of Louis and Metta (Stephenson) Olson. She attended Rockford, Minn. school and graduated from Laurens High School. She married Eldon Buck Nov. 17, 1934 at Havelock. She lived in Havelock, Graettinger and Estherville. She has been a resident at Rosewood Manor Care Center. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son Richard of Spearfish, S.D.; daughters, Mrs. Keith (Geraldine) Whiting and Mrs. Gerry (Judith) Nelson and daughter-in-law, Judy Buck of Estherville; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren,

She was preceded in death by her husband who died Dec. 2, 1991; her parents; one son; one great-grandson; two brothers and eight sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 7, 1997)
