Estherville – Services for Mrs. Kendall (Kathleen) Surfass, 31, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Luke Becker officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. She died Wednesday, July 13, 1983 at Holy Family Hospital.

Legion of Mary Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. and Parish Rosary at 8 p.m. Friday. Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Friday.

Kathleen Marie Premeau was born July 12, 1952 at Medford, Wis., the daughter of Clifford and Aileen (Storm) Premeau. She was a graduate of Marquette, Mich. high school in 1970; and attended Northern Michigan University and Drake University. On April 8, 1972 she was united in marriage with Kendall Surfass at Marquette, Mich. Kathy was employed at Northern Michigan University in Marquette before moving to Des Moines in 1976 where she worked as a legal secretary for Meredith Corp. The family moved to Estherville in 1979 and she has worked as a police dispatcher at the Law Enforcement Center. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Kendall, one daughter, Erin Rae, eight years and one son, Noah Edmund, sixteen months, Estherville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Premeau, Ripon, Wis.; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Edmund Premeau, Westboro, Wis., Maternal grandfather, Victor Storm, Ogema, Wis.; three sisters: Mrs. Larry (Peggy) Stone, Neenah, Wis., Mrs. Dan (Melinda) Krieg, Ishpeming, Mich. and Jacqueline Premeau, Eau Claire, Wis.
