Estherville – Services for Taylor Burton Sunde, 85, will be held Monday, Jan. 23, 10:30 a.m., Estherville Lutheran Church with Pastor Kermit Rye and Pastor Michael Kroona officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. He died Thursday, Jan. 19, 1989 at Holy Family Hospital.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. Sunday.

He was born June 30, 1903 at Estherville, the son of Tom and Martha (Larson) Sunde and attended Estherville schools. On May 17, 1930 he was married to Esther Christensen at Sioux Falls, S.D. Sunde worked as a butcher in Estherville, Blue Earth, Minn. and in North Dakota before returning to Estherville as a carpenter until retiring. He was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sisters: Mrs. Rosella Moore and Mrs. William (Irene) Anderson both of Estherville and a brother Maurice Sunde, Colorado Springs, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his wife in October of 1941; parents, sister and brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 21, 1989)
