Death of Eugene Ridley
Eugene, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ridley died at an early hour Sunday [February 7, 1904] morning.The little fellow had only been ailing since Saturday morning and his sudden death is a sad blow to the bereaved parents. Eugene was twenty-two months and twenty-two days old and was the sunshine and happiness of the home
The funeral services were held at eleven o’clock Tuesday forenoon from the family residence on North Sixth street, Rev. Church having charge of the services. The remains were laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery on the west side.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Ridley mourn the death of their two years old child, Eugene Reymore Ridley. The little one had been sick only a short time and died of convulsions Sunday morning. Funeral services were held in the Free Baptist church at eleven o’clock yesterday forenoon, and the remains interred in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
