The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Harvego who live four miles east of Huntington, died Sunday [November 28, 1915] afternoon at two o’clock. Since his birth ten weeks ago the little fellow has not been strong but at times the parents were encouraged and thought the little one’s life would be spared. The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Harvego was buried last week, Tuesday. The little fellow had been ailing for several weeks, and every effort was put forth to save him, but to no avail and the little sufferer passed away a week ago Sunday. The funeral was held from the home, Rev. Fleishcher, of Dunnell, conducting the services, and the remains were laid away in the little cemetery which adjoins the Harvego farm [Union Cemetery, Ellsworth Township]. Huntington and vicinity extend sympathy to the bereaved family. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, December 8, 1915)
