Heart Attack Fatal to Mrs. Nourse, 70
Mrs. Lillian Julia Nourse, 70, died at 2 p.m. Thursday [May 18, 1967] at her home in Estherville from a heart attack.

She was born June 3, 1896, at Terril, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Dahna. She received her education in Terril and Estherville schools.

Mrs. Nourse was married June 18, 1919, to Herbert Nourse at Estherville. She lived here most of her life except for a short time in Florida. She was employed for 20 years at the Orleans Hotel.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and World War I Veterans Auxiliary.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Jamison, who made her home with her mother in Estherville, one son, Charlie, also of Estherville; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Tena Bugg of Fort Dodge, Mrs. Mabel Brady and Mrs. Lottie Lee of Estherville, and four brothers, LeRoy, Francis, Verne and Glenn of Estherville.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1932, her parents, three sisters, a brother and a granddaughter.

Family services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Reese-Henry Chapel, followed by public services at 2 p.m. The Rev. Roy Hendrickson will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday and until time of services on Monday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 19, 1967)
