Terril – Bryon Michael Nelson, 17-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Doug E. Nelson, Terril, died Tuesday [November 27, 1979] at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.C. Services for Mr. Nelson are pending at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nelson, rural Estherville, Mr. and Mrs. Rich Ringel, Mitchell, S.D., George DeWall, Estherville, and Mrs. Lillian Ringel, Jackson, Minn. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 28, 1979)

Graveside services for Bryon Nelson, 17 day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas E Nelson, Terril, were held Thursday Nov. 29, 1979, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Estherville, with the Rev. Ronald Flentgen of the Immanuel Lutheran Church officiating.

Byron died Tuesday Nov. 27, 1979, at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D., where he had been hospitalized since birth.

Bryon is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Nelson, Terril; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nelson, Estherville; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ringel, Mitchell, S.D.; paternal great grandfather, George Dewall, Estherville; and maternal great grandmother, Mrs. Lillian Ringel, Jackson, Minn.
