Infant Son Dies
The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Koen died late yesterday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital. Services are set for 3:30 p.m. today. Kevin Terry [Perry] Koen was born Saturday at the hospital weighing six pounds. Defective lungs reportedly were the cause of death. Koen has lived in Estherville for about seven years, but has no relatives in the area. Mrs. Koen is the former Alice Handevidt of Jackson. Kevin was their first child. The Rev. Walter H. Discher will officiate at the services to be held at the Sternborg-Reese Chapel this afternoon. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 19, 1960)
