Estherville – Services for Mrs. Irene Isabelle Klein, 92, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Estherville with Dr. N. Gayle Fischer officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. She died Saturday, February 8, 1992 at Good Samaritan Center in Estherville.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday.

She was born July 20, 1899 in Estherville, the daughter of Walter and Adeline (Evans) Wratten and attended Estherville School. On October 17, 1917 she was united with marriage to Otto J. Klein in Estherville. She has lived all her life in Estherville. She was employed by several businesses in Estherville. She has been a resident at the Good Samaritan Center since 1986.She was a member of the First Christian Church and a charter member of VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons: Walter Klein, of Langois, Wash. and Eugene James Klein, of Des Moines; one daughter, Mrs. James (Eileen) Johnson, of Minneapolis; one sister, Mary Stoddard, of Mesa, Ariz.; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, to sons (Otto Jr. and Howard), one daughter, Adeline, three brothers and three sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 12, 1992)
