Funeral services for Ora King, 85, of Estherville, were held Tuesday, Oct. 2, 1984, 9:30 a.m. at the Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville, with Rev. Tom Balm officiating. Kint died Sunday, Sept. 30, 1984 at the Good Samaritan Center, in Estherville.

Ora Kint was born March 18, 1899 near Lake Center, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Mason. She received her education at Estherville, graduating from high school there in 1917.

She attended the Fort Dodge Business school and was employed as a secretary for the Gamble Robinson Company.

On Aug. 21, 1922 she married Bert B. Kint at Spirit Lake. Bert Kint was associated with the Gamble Robinson Company also. The couple lived in Waterloo, Fort Dodge, and Mankato before moving to Estherville. Bert Kint was later associated with the K and M Sales Company, in Estherville, prior to his death in May of 1972 [1982].

Kint was a member of the United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Church Women, and the Eastern Star.

Survivors include one son, Jack, of Spirit Lake; one daughter, Mrs. John (Constance) Greig, of Estherville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one grandson, parents, three brothers and one sister.

The Fuhrman Funeral Home, in Estherville, was in charge of arrangements. (Spirit Lake Beacon, Spirit Lake, IA, October 4, 1984)
