Estherville – Funeral services for Terry D. Poulos, 47, of Estherville will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003 at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel in Estherville with the Rev. Will Reger officiating. Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery. He died on Monday, Dec. 23, 2002 at his home in Estherville.

There will be a time of gathering and remembrance for family and friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service only, Thursday at the funeral home.

Terry was born on June 25, 1955 in Ft. Sill, Okla., the son of John “Jack” and Barbara (Van Horn) Poulos. He received his education in the Estherville schools and graduated from Estherville High School. Following graduation from school Terry attended Iowa Lake Community College in Esthrville.

Terry live all of his life in the Estherville area and was employed at John Morrell and Company, Iowa Beef Processors (IBP) and GKN Industries in Armstrong. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting.

He was a past member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Estherville.

Terry is survived by his father, Jack Poulos of Estherville; one nephew, Tanner Gunderson of Terril; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.

He has been preceded in death by his mother; one sister, Kelly Gunderson; and his maternal and paternal grandparents. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville , IA, December 30, 2002)
