Obituary of Florence Beatty Anderson
Florence Mable Beatty was born in Chickasaw County, Iowa, October 2, 1877. Her early life was spent in that county. She was united in marriage to George E. Anderson on March 28, 1895. To this union six children were born. Three of these preceding her, two dying in infancy and one Floyd at the age of nine years.

She united with the Methodist church in her early childhood. She was a member of the Royal Neighbor Lodge of Superior, Iowa, Camp No. 1402. The family moved to Estherville, Iowa, in 1900 and this has been their home with the exception of six years spent near Watertown, So. Dak. Mrs. Anderson passed out of this life on June 27, 1926. She leaves to mourn her departure three children, a father and three brothers, Helen Blanche, Ted George, and Mable Lillian of Estherville; a father, John F. Beatty of Estherville; three brothers, Clyde W. and Edmund J. of Spirit Lake, Iowa, and Arthur of Estherville. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, July 7, 1926)
