Eldon [Elden] Weber, 60, Estherville, Dies; Rites Set
Eldon (Shine) Edward Weber, 60, died yesterday at 4 p.m. at Holy Family Hospital. Although his death was unexpected, he had been in poor health for 3 ½ years.

He was born Oct. 6, 1908, at El Paso, Ill., the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Weber. He was educated in Terril schools.

He was married April 1, 1929, to Alice Ingvall at Marian. After their marriage they lived at Rockford, Ill., where he was employed at the Ingersoll Mining Co. They moved to Estherville in the summer of 1930 and has been employed by Golden Sun Feeds, Inc., since 1932.

Weber was a member of the Estherville Fire Department for 20 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Elks lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Alice E. Weber; three sons, Harvey Weber of Estherville, Donald Weber of Lyman, Colo., Robert Weber of Hamburg; one daughter, Mrs. Neil (Lois) Warren of Des Moines; and 10 grandchildren.

Also two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Alma) Ingvall of Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Edna Full of Los Angeles, Calif.; and a brother, Ernest Weber of Rockford, Ill.

He was preceded in death by two infant children, his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at First Christian Church, Estherville, the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Clifford Rauhauser, Jim Buell, Ray Nelson, Orville Wegman, LaVerne Peterson and Marvin Moffitt.

Honorary pallbearers are Harold Sawyer, Emmet Amdahl, Lawrence Jensen, Herman Jensen, Roy Christensen, and John McDonald.

Friends may call at Reese-Henry Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday and until noon on Monday when the body will be taken to the church. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 24, 1969)
