Louis William Stark, 76, lifetime Estherville reident, died at 5:15 a.m. today at Holy Family Hospital of a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Sandin-Fuhrman Funeral Home, the Rev. James K. Lyon officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. Friends may call at Sandin-Fuhrman's from tomorrow until the time of services Wednesday.

Mr. Stark was born in Estherville on March 15, 1885, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stark. He received his education in Estherville schools. He was married to Grace Wheatley in Estherville on March 16, 1915. the couple celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary this year. They lived all their married life on farms in this area. Mr. Stark was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Estherville.

He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Lois) Feger and Mrs. James (Naomi) Fox, both of Estherville and six grandchlildren. Also surviving are a brother, Ern of Pillager, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. John (Jessie) Coleman of Motley, Minn. Mr. Stark was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
