Estherville – Services for Dale Oren Rawlings, 59, of Estherville, will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Gospel Assembly Church with the Rev. Ernest Gafkjen officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery with military graveside services by VFW Post 3388 and American Legion Post 91 of Estherville.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville after 4 p.m. Thursday.

He was born Sept. 27, 1932 at Grand Island, Nebr. the son of Leonard and Viola (Mathis) Rawlings and attended Nebraska and Estherville schools. He lived at Grand Island until he was 15 and the family moved to Iowa where he farmed and raised horses. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. On Oct. 29, 1950 he married Bonnie Roggow at Spirit Lake. He was a member of Calvary Gospel Assembly Church.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie of Estherville; two sons Greg of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Gail of Kileen, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Brad (Daleen) Stamas, Maple Grove, Minn.; six grandchildren; his parents, Leonard and Viola Rawlings of Estherville; and one sister, Gladys Holmgren of Evansville, Minn.
