1923-1977
Estherville – Services for Harold G. Mustard, 54, longtime Estherville resident, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Estherville Lutheran Church with the Rev. Stan Eyberg, officiating. Mr. Mustard died Thursday [September 15, 1977] evening at the Good Samaritan Center, where he had been a patient for the past two months. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery, with Henry-Olson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call at the Henry-Olson Funeral Home from 2 p.m. Friday until time of services.

Mr. Mustard was born Sept. 5, 1923 in Jackson, Minn., the son of the late Sylvester James and Katie Mustard. He received his education in the Estherville Public Schools. He was engaged in the trucking business for several years and also owned and operated a taxicab service in Estherville. For the past seven years he has been employed as custodian at Good Samaritan Center.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor and two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Connie) Koller and Mrs. James (Colleen) Griffin, St. Paul, Minn.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Denise Linn, Estherville and one step-son, Dennis Davis. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Darlene Bendixen, Estherville, three brothers, Jim Mustard, El Cajon, Calif., Melvin Mustard, Bourbonnias, Ill., and Donald Mustard, Gruver, his step-mother, Mrs. Nellie Mustard, Estherville, and two half-brothers, Jack Mustard and Steve Mustard.
