Miss Christine Olson Dies in Iowa City Hospital

Miss Christine Olson who was studying nursing in the University hospital at Iowa City died of the Spanish influenza which developed into pneumonia Wednesday, December 4th. The body was brought to Estherville Thursday morning and the funeral was held Friday.

Deceased wsa a graduate of the Estherville high school of the class of 17-18 and was honored by being elected its president. She was a splendid young lady who had worked her way through high school and had an ambition to get into some line of work where she could be benefit to mankind and decided upon nursing as her profession.
She went to Iowa City last summer and entered the University hospital as a student nurse. She wss gettin along nicely and liked her work until taken down with the Flu about a week before her death.
