Mrs. Kamp Dis; Rites Wednesday
Mrs. Lee Kamp, 74, resident of the Wallingford and Raleigh areas for the past 46 years, died early yesterday morning in her sleep at her home. It is believed that Mrs. Kamp’s death, attributed to a heart condition, occurred about 6:30 a.m.

Mr. Kamp was not aware that anything was wrong until he called Mrs. Kamp about 7:30 and when she failed to respond he went to her bed and found her dead.

Mrs. Kamp had been in failing health for about a year.

Born Feb. 28, 1889, at El Paso, Ill., she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Fell. She received her education in the Woodford, Ill., schools.

The former Myrtle Maud Fell and Lee Kamp were married Jan. 2, 1908 at El Paso and lived in that area for six years before moving to North Dakota in 1914.

They spent four years in Dakota and in 1918 moved to Raleigh where they made their home until 11 years ago at which time they moved to their present home in Wallingford.

As a child Mrs. Kamp was baptized in the Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her husband. Preceding her in death were her parents, five sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services are to be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Reese Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Charles du Bois of Grace Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will be in East Side cemetery.

Friends may call at Reese Funeral Home all day Tuesday and until time of services on Wednesday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 10, 1964)
