Andrew Juhl’s mother passed away Monday [January 9, 1911] afternoon at her home northeast of Estherville. (Graettinger Times, Graettinger, IA, January 12, 1911)

Mrs. Jewel [Dorothy Thompson Juhl] died Monday night. Funeral is to be held Thursday. More particulars next week. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, January 11, 1911)

The funeral of Mrs. G. Juhl was held from her home at ten o’clock Thursday [January 12, 1911] morning and from the Lutheran church in Estherville at eleven.
