Mrs. Dorothy Ruth Clabaugh, 51, Estherville, passed away Saturday afternoon, Feb 25, at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville. Funeral services for Mrs. Clabaugh were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb 27, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor R. B. Flentgen officiating. Burial was at Eastside Cemetery, Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville, was in charge of arrangements.

She was born Sept 14, 1926, in Fraser Township, Minn., to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Roehler. she received her education in the Zion Lutheran school system and the Wilbert, Minn. schools. On Oct. 10, 1943, she was married to Roy Clabaugh Jr. at Armstrong and has lived in the Estherville area all of her life. She was a waitress in Estherville for many years and for the past few years she was a nurses aide at Valley View Nursing Home, Armstrong. A member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, she was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Her survivors include her husband, Roy; two daughters, Mrs. Nathan (Dorothy) Behne, Sherburn, Minn., and Mrs. John (Bonnie) Baloun, Des Moines; two sons, Skip (Roy) and Tom, both of Estherville; her mother, Mrs. Anna Mitchell, Estherville; 11 grandchildren; four brothers, Merton Roehler, Estherville, Junior Mitchell, Early, and Melvin Mitchell, Owatonna, Minn.; and four sisters, Mrs. Lola Shaffer, Willimar, Minn., Mrs. JoAnn Stinehart, Mrs. Larry (Jean) Stinhart, Mrs. Elmer (Leona) Schmidtke, all of Estherville.

Preceding her in death were her father and step-father.
