Harold Brobst Services Set Wednesday
Harold Edwin Brobst, 59, died suddenly Saturday afternoon, Sept. 30, 1972, at his home in Wallingford.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church in Estherville with the Rev. Richard Pearson officiating. Burial will be made in East Side Cemetery.

He was born Dec. 26, 1913 in Polk City to Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Brobst. At the age of 13, he came with his family to Palo Alto County and was educated in schools there. On May 25, 1933, he was married to Alice Mofitt [Moffit] of Emmetsburg.

For the past 29 years he has been employed with Hill Packing Co. and later with Morrell and Co. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Estherville.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Dean of Graettinger, Don and Dewayne of Estherville; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Diane) Jensen of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Don (Susie) Mahan of Graettinger; and 19 grandchildren; his father, Floyd Brobst of rural Wallingford; two brothers, George of Madrid and Earl of Milton, Fla.; and two sisters, Mrs. Amos Mahan and Mrs. William Reynolds of Graettinger.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace, and two grandsons.

Friends may call at Fuhrman Funeral Home in Graettinger after 3 p.m. Tuesday until 10 a.m. Wednesday when the body will be taken to the Presbyterian Church in Estherville to lie in state until time of services. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 2, 1972)
