Mrs. Dr. Myrick died Friday, Aug. 8th about 4 o’clock p.m. She has been in feeble health for two years or more. She had recently given birth to a child which was the immediate cause of her death. She was 29 years old, and leaves a husband and three little children one only a few days old. Mrs. Myrick was a woman who was respected by all who knew her. The mourning friends have the sympathy of the community. (Emmet County Herald, Estherville, IA, August 15, 1884)
