Norman Richard Amdahl
Norman Richard Amdahl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Amdahl, passed away on Sunday [February 13, 1927] afflicted with pneumonia. He was a fine little lad and was popular in his school. He was born Dec. 17, 1920. The remains will be laid to rest this afternoon in the east side cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Amdahl have the sympathy of their many friends in this their time of sorrow. Held Funeral Services for Norman Amdahl
Funeral services for Norman Richard Amdahl, 6 years old, who died last Sunday evening, were held this afternoon at the home, with the Rev. L.A. Mathre in charge.

Norman was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Amdahl and the cause of his death was pneumonia. At first it was thought the lad had diphtheria, but tests showed that there was no diphtheria present.

Norman was born on Dec. 17, 1920 and is survived by his parents, a number of brothers and sisters, and many sorrowing friends. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, February 16, 1927)
