Mary Beaver Dies after 8 Year Illness
Miss Mary Ellen Beaver, 22, died Sunday night at her home after an illness of eight years. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Christian church with the Rev. Alva Ragsdale officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill cemetery.

Mary Ellen Beaver was born near Dallas Center, May 12, 1907. Fifteen years ago she came to this community with her parents and has made her home here since that time. Although she has been in poor health for the past eight years she has made a brave fight through it all. She regretted greatly her inability to attend church and Sunday school.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Beaver, seven brothers, Melvin, Myrl, McKinley, Charles, Lloyd, Floyd, and Howard and five sisters, Margaret, Dorothy, and Mrs. Erma Dean of Estherville, Mrs. Kathryn Barkholder of Perry and Mrs. Hazel Stone of Fort Dodge.
