Ex-Resident of Estherville Dies; Rites Conducted
Mrs. Guy McKibben, the former Mayme Sullivan of Estherville, was buried beside her husband at Calvary Cemetery in Des Moines after a requiem high mass was said for her in St. Augustan’s Church in Des Moines.

Relatives who attended were her sister, Margaret, Mrs. Frank Steiner of Armstrong; Mrs. Steiner’s son, Donald, from Fairmont; and her daughter and three children, Mr. and Mrs. John Douglas from Dixon, Ill. Also attending were a niece, Miss Betty Parsons of Estherville, and a nephew, Fred Parsons, of Omaha, Neb.

Mrs. McKibben’s two surviving brothers, William J. Sullivan of Mandan, N.D., and Joseph E. Sullivan of Clearwater, Fla., were unable to attend.

Mrs. Steiner went to Dixon, Ill., to spend a few days with her daughter and family before returning to Armstrong. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 24, 1969)
