Rites Pending for Mrs. Gerald Neppl
Mrs. Gerald (Phyllis) Neppl, wife of Sgt. Gerald Neppl, stationed with the Air Force in Jacksonville, Ark., died suddenly at her home early Sunday of a heart attack.She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilford Osher, Wallingford.

Mrs. Gerald Neppl, 34, Dies Suddenly at Jacksonville, Ark.
Mrs. Gerald (Phyllis) Neppl, 34, wife of Sgt. Gerald Neppl, stationed with the Air Force at Jacksonville, Ark., died suddenly of a heart attack at her Jacksonville home early Sunday.Phyllis Anne Osher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilford Osher of Wallingford, was born March 28, 1936 in Estherville.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 24, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Estherville with Msgr. James H. Duhigg officiating. The Fuhrman Funeral was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Duane Bendixen, Roger Bryan, Ronald Bryan, Gary Christensen, Larry Neppl and Leon Neppl. Burial was in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Estherville.
She received her education in the Wallingford Grade school and graduated from the Estherville High school with the class of 1953.
On December 28, 1953 she was married to Gerald E. Neppl at Estherville. As her husband has been in Military service since their marriage, the couple has lived in Texas, Hawaii, Illinois, Omaha, Nebraska and in Germany. Since July, 1970 the family has lived in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Mrs. Neppl is survived by her husband, TSgt. Gerald E. Neppl, USAF; two sons, Anthony J. and Joseph G.; two daughters, Diane and Roberta, all of Jacksonville, Ark.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilford Osher of Wallingford; three sisters, Mrs. Bernadette Jorgensen of Aurora, Colorado, Mrs. Marilee Wee of Spirit Lake, and LuAnn Osher of Wallingford; her grandfather, L. B. Nelson of Wallingford; and her grandmother, Mrs. G. Osher of Graettinger. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a twin of Joseph. (Graettinger Times, Graettinger, IA, March 25, 1971)
