Albert Hanson Interment at Estherville
Albert Joseph Hanson, 79, died Saturday, Nov. 11, 1972, at Holy Family Hospital. A resident of the Dolliver and Armstrong area, funeral services were held for Mr. Hanson this morning at 10 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Armstrong. Interment was in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Estherville.Mr. Hanson was born Aug. 23, 1893, to Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Hanson in Ottawa, Ill. He received his education there and as a young man came to Emmet County with his two brothers, William and Harry. For many years they had a blacksmith shop in Maple Hill and later farmed near Dolliver.
He was a World War I veteran and a member of the Modern Woodmen Lodge.
Survivors include one brother, Harry, a resident of Valley Vue Nursing Home in Armstrong and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and sisters.
