Peter Fank, a former Superior resident, passed away at his home in Estherville, Sept. 1, following a two weeks’ illness. He was born in Luxemberg 64 years ago last June 23. He came to American when 20 years old. He has lived in Emmet and Dickinson counties for 38 years. He was unmarried, a sister, Josephine, had kept house for him for many years. Funeral services were held from St. Patrick’s Catholic church Friday morning. (Spirit Lake Beacon, Spirit Lake, IA, September 9, 1937)
