Mrs. Bernard Dankbar [Melvina Helinsky Dankbar] died at Bancroft Friday evening after an illness of a few hours, the result of a blood clot, the attending physician said. She leaves a baby three weeks old and one older child. The Dankbars lived northeast of Titonka until this spring when they quit farming and moved to Bancroft. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dankbar went to Bancroft Tuesday to attend the funeral of their sister-in-law, Mrs. Bernard Dankbar, who died Saturday. Others from Clear Lake present were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dankbar and Patricia and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jordan. Mrs. Jordan is a sister of the Dankbars.
