Mrs. Loveland Passes Away
Hold Funeral Services at Catholic Church
Mrs. W. L. Loveland, 61, died Saturday morning at 11 o’clock at the Coleman hospital, where she underwent two operations recently. She underwent the first operation six weeks ago and the last one two weeks ago.Funeral services were held on Monday morning at 9 o’clock at the St. Patrick’s Catholic church with the Rev. Father Savage officiating. Burial was at the Catholic cemetery.
Catherine Reiter was born Oct. 16, 1873 at St. Donatus, and was married to W. L. Loveland Jan. 1, 1895 at Sioux Falls. Twenty-five years ago they moved to Estherville from Ellsworth, Minn., and have lived here ever since.
Mrs. Loveland has always been an active worker in the church, in the Royal Neighbors lodge, League of Women Voters, Catholic Daughters of America society, trainmen’s auxiliary and of the Service Star Legion.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, Roy and Harry of Estherville, two daughters, Virginia of Estherville, and Mrs. J. A. Rose of Gadsen, Alabama, six brothers, Jim Reiter, Peter Reiter, Harry Reiter, Joe Reiter, Ben Reiter and Nick Reiter of Sioux Falls, and four sisters, Mrs. Otis Kemp of Independence, Mrs. Henry Kruck, Mrs. Nick Ports and Mrs. Walter Frisbee of Sioux Falls.
