Father Dies – Mrs. W. J. Cotton, Mrs. Lillie Thompson and Neva attended the funeral of Margaret Schloeman’s father in Estherville on Monday. He died Friday [August 15, 1958] after breaking a hip about six weeks ago. Miss Schloeman formerly taught in Lone Rock. (Kossuth County Advance, Algona, IA, August 21, 1958)
