Raymond Benjamin Peterson 1899-1918

The remains of Raymond C. [Benjamin] Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Peterson, formerly of this city but now of Minneapolis, was brought to this city for burial Tuesday. The body being taken direct from the M. & St. L. cemetery where he was laid to rest in the family lot, Rev. Gilbert Voorhies officiating. The pallbearers being members of the Odd Fellows Lodge of this city of which Mr. Peterson was formerly a member, he having removed from this city to Ogilvie, Minn., about six years ago, and very recently from there to Minneapolis.

Raymond C. Peterson was born in Emmet County, Sept. 15, 1899, and died in Ogilvie, Minn., November 30, 1918. His parents moved from the farm to this city when he was a small boy, and he was a regular attendant of the public schools of the city until their removal to Minneapolis.

The remains were accompanied by the father and mother. The grandfather, N. B. Peterson, and aunt of Windom, Minn., and aunt Mrs. Ethel Evans of Chicago. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, December 11, 1918)
