Sophronia B. M. Olson
The remains of Sophronia B. M. Olson were brought here Saturday for burial. Miss Olson, with her mother, moved from this city to Miles City, Mont., in July 1917, where she resided until her death on October 22nd. She became afflicted with the Spanish Influenza which brought on pneumonia from which she did after being ill about a week. Miss Olson was a popular young lady and had a host of school friends having lived here since the time of her birth, on June 24th, 1897. She was a graduate of our High School and was considered an exceptional scholar in her class.

The funeral services were held in this city on Saturday last, the Rev. Walter Torbet officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery.

The family has the sympathy of a host of friends residing in this city. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, October 30, 1918)

Former Resident of Estherville Victim of Flu at Home in Montana
Miss Sophronia Olson died of Spanish influenza at the home of her brother, Peter, at Miles City, Montana, last Wednesday.

The body was brought to Estherville Friday afternoon for burial in Oak Hill cemetery by the side of her father. Burial services were held on Saturday forenoon. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, October 30, 1918)

Mrs. O. R. Olson and Mrs. H. Perkins were in attendance at the funeral of Sophronia Olson who died suddenly in Montana, the remains being brought to Estherville for burial. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, October 30, 1918)
