Louis Moeller Died Last Friday Morning
Had Suffered Several Years From Cancer – Funeral Services Were Held Monday
Louis Moeller, who lived just north of this city, died at his home last Friday morning at six o’clock. For several years Mr. Moeller had suffered greatly from a cancer on the side of his face, and death came as a welcome messenger to relieve him of his pain. He was a good man, respected and honored by all who knew him. He was at the time of his death almost forty-six years of age. He leaves to mourn his death, a wife, one son and a sister.

Funeral services were held from the German Lutheran church in this city last Monday afternoon, Rev. Andreae in charge. A large crowd of friends gathered to pay their last respects to his memory. The floral offerings were many and beautiful, showing the esteem in which he was held by those who knew him. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community in their hour of sorrow. Louis Moeller Passes Away
Friday morning, February 7th, a great sufferer passed away who had for many years endured one of the most dreadful diseases. Louis W. L. Moeller was of an age of 45 years, 8 months and 26 days at the time of his death. He leaves his widow, an only son and a sister to mourn his death.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to all neighbors and friends who helped in times of distress and showed so much kindness. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, February 12, 1919)

Louis W. S. Ch. Moeller who has for years been a resident of this city, passed away at this home on last Friday morning. He has been a sufferer for year with cancer. Everything known to the medical profession has been done to relieve his sufferings. At the time of his death he was forty-five years, eight months and twenty-six days of age. He leaves a wife, son, and a sister to mourn his death. Mr. Moeller was a pleasant and obliging man with many friends. The funeral services were held on Sunday, the Rev. Andreae officiating.
