Mrs. F. Miller, Former Resident, is Buried Here
Funeral services were held Friday for Mrs. Frank Miller [Emma Newman Miller], 84, who passed away at the home of her daughter in Cedar Falls. Mrs. Miller resided in this city for many years at the corner of 9th Street and Second Ave. South. She was one of the early residents here and the wife of a building contractor.

The funeral services were held from the Mahlum and Anderson funeral parlors, the Rev. F. Ortmeyer officiating. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery. She leaves two sons, Monte and Cleve of this city and two daughters, Mrs. Mable Bates, Cedar Falls and Mrs. Leta Bishop of Anamosa. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, August 17, 1939)
