Mrs. Wm. Myers Passes Away at Hospital Before Operation Was Performed
Was Married on May 20th
Mrs. Wm. Myers died last Monday morning at four o’clock at the Anderson Hospital where she had been taken for an operation. She had not been in the best of health for sometime and it was decided an operation was necessary. Before it could be performed it was thought necessary to build up her strength. She entered the hospital on Saturday and passed away from uremic poisoning before an operation could be performed.

Mrs. Myers was a sister of Mrs. Wm. McArdle of this city and was united to Wm. Myers on May 20th of this year. They have made their home in this city since that time, Mr. Myers being employed in the Kilgore and Klocow hardware store. Mrs. Myers had made many friends in this city, and was considered an excellent woman.

The funeral services are to be conducted from the McArdle home at 2 o’clock on Thursday, the Rev. Walter Torbet officiating. The remains will be laid to rest in the Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, September 17, 1919)
