Mr. and Mrs. Judd Lyman have the sympathy of the community in the loss of their second baby boy [Albert Claude]. Thursday Mrs. Lyman and the little one went to Council Bluffs for a visit and Friday the baby was taken suddenly ill and died Saturday [June 29, 1900] morning. The body was taken to this city for burial. The funeral was held from the Christian church Sunday afternoon. (Emmet County Republican, Estherville, IA, July 5, 1900)
