The purpose of their (Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Thompson) visit was to attend funeral services Sunday for Robert Larson, cousin of Mr. Thompson, who was fatally injured last week in a tractor accident. Also here for the funeral services was Leonard Thompson of Kansas City, a brother of Mervin. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 27, 1953)
