Funeral Services Were Held From the Presbyterian Church on Saturday Last
Death came last Thursday to end the sufferings of Mrs. Andrew Juhl, one of Emmet county’s good women, who was born and raised within our county. She has been a patient sufferer for the past few years with that most dreadful disease, tuberculosis. Every comfort that could be given her has been bestowed. She was for almost a year under the care of physicians and trained nurses at Iowa City. Since returning home the family has lived in the north portion of the city.

Mrs. Juhl was the daughter of one of our pioneer families, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Espeset. She was married to Andrew Juhl February twentieth, 1907. To this union there born a boy and a girl.

The funeral services were held last Saturday from the Presbyterian church, of which Mrs. Juhl was a member. The Rev. R. C. Mitchell, assisted by the Rev. J. J. Akre, officiated at the services. The floral offerings were beautiful and the funeral was one of the largest ever held in the church. At the grave the Royal Neighbors, of which she was a member, took charge of the services.

She leaves to mourn her death, besides a loving husband and two children, her father and mother, six brothers and four sisters. The remains were laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, October 6, 1915)
