Miss Sarah Herzberg Passed Away After Long Illness
The body of Miss Sarah Herzberg arrived here this morning and funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian church in this city Friday afternoon. Miss Herzberg passed away at the state hospital in Cherokee Monday night after an illness of long duration. Her mother had charge of a commercial college in this city several years ago. Her brother, Neil Herzberg resides in this city. The sympathy of many friends is extended the bereaved family in their hours of grief. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, August 19, 1925)

Body of Sarah Herzberg Brought Here for Burial
The body of Miss Sarah Herzberg was brought here this (Wednesday) morning from Cherokee and was buried in Oak Hill cemetery beside her mother.

Miss Herzberg was nearly thirty years of age and had been at Cherokee since 1917. The mother, Mrs. Janet Herzberg, conducted a commercial school here and was later elected county recorder, passing away while serving in that office in 1919 [1917].
